Briggs, “Pete” Peter (b. 1904 – death date unknown)

Thought to be a South Carolina native; cousin of [James] Arthur Briggs; played the tuba in the Jenkins Orphanage Band. Played with Louis Armstrong, Carroll Dickerson, and Jimmie Noone.
